The Mailtrack alternative that never signs your emails.
Mailtrack's free plan adds a promotional signature to your emails and shows only the first open, and it asks for permission to read, send and delete your Gmail. MailViewed adds no branding, shows every open on your last 30 days of emails for free, and never asks Google for permission to read your mail.
Three reasons to choose MailViewed over Mailsuite
No branding on what you send
On Mailsuite's free plan, tracked emails carry a promotional signature unless you remove it email by email. MailViewed never adds a name, badge or footer, on any plan.
No Google permission to read your mail
Mailtrack's Google Workspace listing asks to read, compose, send and permanently delete all your Gmail. MailViewed signs you in with your basic Google profile, and its one Gmail permission is optional and send-only.
Scanner opens kept out of your count
Mailsuite's own help center calls opens from security scanners, preview panes and apps that preload images a known limitation. MailViewed leaves out loads from Apple's privacy proxy, Microsoft Safe Links, Mimecast, Proofpoint and other scanners, and shows each one on the email.

What you pay for the same features
MailViewed's free plan has no monthly cap on tracked emails; tracking may be paused for bulk, campaign-style sending.
What each one can reach in your Google account
- Sign-in asks only for your basic Google profile: name, email address and profile photo (openid, email, profile). MailViewed keeps just the name and email.
- One optional Gmail permission, send-only, used by Compose and individual copies. It can't read, search or delete mail.
- The extension works inside the Gmail page you have open and never searches or downloads your mailbox.
- Its Google Workspace listing asks to read, compose, send and permanently delete all your email from Gmail.
- Its help center explains why: send (to add the pixel), read (to copy group emails) and delete (to clean up those copies).
You want read receipts in Gmail with no branding on your emails, every open on your last 30 days of emails visible for free, scanner opens kept out of your numbers, and a tracker that never asks Google for permission to read your mail.

MailViewed vs Mailsuite: common questions
Yes. Mailtrack is made by Mailsuite S.L. in Barcelona, which used to be called The Mail Track Company. Since 2024 the Mailtrack extension has been part of the Mailsuite brand; the Chrome Web Store listing is still called Mailtrack.
Yes. On the free plan Mailsuite adds a promotional signature to tracked emails. You can remove it on a single email and keep tracking, but removing it for every email is listed as a feature of the paid plans. MailViewed adds no signature or branding to your emails on any plan.
Mailsuite's help center says it uses the read permission to make copies of emails sent to several people and the delete permission to remove those copies from Sent. MailViewed takes a different approach: sign-in asks only for your basic profile, and the only Gmail permission it can ask for is optional and send-only.
For the same features, yes. Both start paid plans at $2.99 a month. On MailViewed that buys Pro: 12 months of history, open alerts by email and per-recipient receipts for group emails. On Mailsuite the $2.99 plan removes the signature and shows 7 days of history, and those three features need the $5.99 Mailsuite plan.
Not on the same Gmail account. Mailtrack takes control of Gmail's Send button, and two extensions can't both handle the same Send. So while Mailtrack is active, MailViewed pauses itself and your email still goes out through Mailtrack, just without MailViewed tracking. Turn Mailtrack off in Chrome's extensions page, reload Gmail, then send your next email with MailViewed.
Try it on your next email.
Free to start, no branding on what you send, and scanner opens kept out of your numbers.
