Attachments in Compose.

Attach files up to 17MB combined. They're never stored — held in memory only for the send.

Attach files with the paperclip in Compose. The combined limit is 17MB (that's the practical ceiling for Gmail delivery once encoding overhead is counted). Mention an attachment in your text but forget to attach? Compose nudges you before sending.

Privacy: attachments never touch our database or disk. They're held in memory just for the seconds it takes to hand your email to Gmail, then gone — and they never appear in logs.
