Templates and starters.

Compose ships with starter templates — cold outreach, gentle follow-up, meeting request, proposal follow-up, re-engagement, and thank-you — free for everyone. Pick one from Insert template, fill the bracketed blanks (Compose warns you about any you forgot), and send.

Your own templates (Pro)

• Save your best openers and follow-ups as reusable templates.
• Each template tracks its own performance when you send it from Compose (Insert template or Use in Compose): sends, open rate, click rate, reply rate — so you learn which wording actually gets read. If you paste a template into Gmail instead, the email is still tracked as usual, but that send doesn't count toward the template's stats.
• Write {{first_name}} in a template and, if you've already added a single recipient whose name we know, Insert template fills in their first name.
