One sign-in connects the extension to your dashboard. Here's how pairing works and why it matters.
Pairing is automatic: sign in at mailviewed.com with the same Google account you send from, in the same browser where the extension is installed. That's it — the extension picks up a secure token and starts syncing your tracked emails to your dashboard.
Why pairing matters
- Checkmarks and statuses in Gmail come from your tracked-email list — no pairing, no ticks.
- Self-open protection: when you view your own Sent copy, the paired extension tells us, so your own view is never counted as your recipient reading.
- Reply detection: the extension spots when a recipient writes back and marks the thread Hot.
Using more than one Gmail account?
Sign in to mailviewed.com once with each account. Every account gets its own separate dashboard, and the extension keeps identities per tab — so tracking never leaks between accounts, even with two inboxes open side by side.
Un-paired sending is safe: your email still goes out normally. Tracking simply stays off until you sign in once.
