Complimentary Pro.
Pro that the MailViewed team switched on for you. No card, no invoices, and buying Pro later never shortens what you were given.
Sometimes the MailViewed team turns Pro on for an account by hand, for a set time or with no end date. That's complimentary Pro. Every Pro feature works exactly as it does for a paying account; the only difference is how it's billed, which is: it isn't. There's nothing to apply for or set up on your side.
How it shows up
- The sidebar's plan line reads Complimentary access until <date>, or Complimentary lifetime access when there's no end date. Settings and the mobile menu use the short form: Pro · until <date> or Pro · lifetime.
- On the Billing page, the Pro card says Complimentary Pro · active until <date> (or Complimentary Pro · lifetime access). There's no Cancel subscription button, because there's no subscription.
- Billing history says No invoices to show: you're not being charged, so there's nothing to download and no billing portal to open. A card is never asked for.
When a dated grant ends
On the end date your account moves to the Free plan by itself. Nothing is deleted: the dashboard shows the last 30 days of tracked emails, and older ones are archived, ready to come back if you ever upgrade. Pro-only screens lock again and the Billing page offers Pro as usual. The card says this in advance: When this ends, you'll move to the Free plan, and this page will offer Pro again.
Buying Pro while on a grant
You can, from the Billing page as usual. A subscription never shortens what you were given: whichever date runs later wins, and a lifetime grant stays lifetime. The rule holds the other way round too, so if the team extends access on an account that already pays, the paid time is kept. If you want to know exactly how the two line up on your account, email [email protected].
Complimentary Pro is separate from the 7-day trial: a trial is something you start yourself, once; complimentary access is set up by us.
